Always wash your hands with soap and water before touching or washing your tattoo. Do not allow anyone to touch your tattoo while it is healing.
Wash your new tattoo with mild unscented soap and warm water 2-3x a day for the first 5 days.
Pat dry with a clean paper towel and allow your tattoo to air dry completely.
After tattoo has been washed and dried, moisturize with a very thin layer of unscented lotion (such as lubriderm) or aquaphor. Be sure not to over-apply.
No baths, hot tubs, or swimming in pools, lakes, oceans, etc. until your tattoo has fully healed. Showers and washing are fine.
Do not scratch or pick at your tattoo while it is healing. Thin flaky scabs and peeling are a normal part of the healing process, but picking at your tattoo during this stage can cause ink loss and/or scarring.
Keep your tattoo clear of any potentially dirty surfaces such as shared gym equipment. be sure to wash your tattoo after exercising and other activities that may cause you to sweat.
Everyone’s bodies are different and may have slightly different healing times. While some tattoos may heal sooner, expect that your tattoo should be fully healed within 30 days.
Touch ups are free for up to 6months after receiving your tattoo. This excludes fingers, hands and foot tattoos. Please allow 30 days for your tattoo to fully heal before scheduling your touch up.
